The Magyar Millennium Park (Hungarian Garden) situated on the corner of Molesworth and Hawkestone Streets in Wellington, is New Zealand’s only national Hungarian memorial.

How to visit

The Magyar Millennium Park is just a 5-minute walk from the railway station and bus depot. It’s easy to find – just two blocks up from Parliament, and diagonally opposite Thorndon New World. On a nice day, it’s a favourite spot for local office workers.

Engraved pavers can be ordered by filling in the form online, but can also be ordered by contacting one of the Magyar Millennium Park trustees directly.
